Gudeg, Bakpia and farewell Jogja..

March 7th 2012

This is the last day of my Jogjakarta trip. Today plan was..eat gudeg, bought bakpia, went to the bus station and said goodbye to Jogjakarta. haaa..its kind a sad :(

Gudeg B. Djuminten- Jogjakarta

First thing first, we went to Gudeg B. Djuminten to eat. Really, the tour in Jogjakarta isn't complete til we eat gudeg. Agree people? :D

the menu

I ordered Nasi Gudeg + suwiran, and i like it so much. This surprise me, cause i never like gudeg before this, except the one that Urri's mother made. hehe

Nasi Gudeg Suwiran

So, i feel like..proud to my self. Cause back then, i only eat what i knew, what i used to eat. Now that i can enjoy some traditional food, yet foreign food is something that makes me relieve. I adapted well, so if one of you want to bring me overseas..i'm easy to feed ! haha

Wedang Tahu

Sari bought some drink called wedang tahu, at first it looks like Bubur Sumsum. But the taste is so much different. The ginger makes this drink felt warm. Quite yummy :)

its us :)

I love the painting !!

Finished eating, we went to Kurnia Sari Outlet. Its on Jalan Ringroad Utara Jogjakarta. I've tasted several bakpia brand, and i'd like to say that..this brand is the best. Super thanks to Jogja team who brought me there. The bakpia is so soft and delicious. For 15 pieces cost Rp22.500,00 and for 20 pieces Rp30.000,00. They are ready in several flavor like chocolate, cheese, milk, kacang hijau and kumbu hitam. When i gave it for family, all of them said its like no other bakpia. Maknyuuuuuuus :D

Hesna and me at Kurnia Sari outlet

While me and Hesna waited til the departure time came, we talked and had some snack in Sari's house. To my surprise, Aji gave us some goody bag. There're bakpia, gudeg and kipo inside. Wanna know kipo is?

Kipo

Yup, thats Kipo. Small, delicious and addictive. I ate it on my way back home, yummy ! hehe

Soooo..it the end of my journey in Jogjakarta. Hope you enjoy it too, reader. I'll see you soon :D

KALIurang MILK

March 6th 2012

Yes, like i said before..its moo~ thing. Milk ! Hehehe

Located at Jalang Lempongsari no.251 Jogjakarta, this milk cafe is such a hip place. Its crowded when i was there, they said..on weekend, waiting list is something that usually happen. hmm..

Kalimilk - Jogjakarta

There're two size of the milk, medium and Gajah ( means : elephant, big ). Each costed Rp10.000,00 and Rp16.000,00.  In my opinion, the tasted is good enough, but cimory tasted better and  also cheaper.

Kalimilk risoles

Kalimilk french fries

Kalimilk omelete

I forget the name -__-

Kalimilk mania is usually called Neneners (Milk drinker). They served not only various milk, from plain, choco, strawberry, bluberry, oreo etc., but also food. The price is a bit high for Jogjakarta standard but its yummy. So i dont mind :P

its chairs !

cashier

i love this ! <3

The place is cozy. Brow is dominated the area, wood, bamboo..my fave ! The vespa and some unique stuff make this place suitable for young age. They also provide photobooth ! yaaay >_<

full team !

It was nice to accidently meet my college friend here, so we seated together and had a good night.

Tugu Jogjakarta.
On our way back home, we stop by at newly-recolored Tugu Jogjakarta. Even its was raining we still put our best smile and say..cheeseeeee :D

This is actually my last night in Jogjakarta (in this trip). Tomorrow night i'll be on my way back home. Haaa..hope i'll experience another great night here.

Artemy Italian Gelato

March 6th 2012

Finally, a gelato cafe !
Artemy Italian Gelato located in Jalan Malioboro Jogjakarta, next to Malioboro Mall. A small yet cozy cafe, i love the place. The decoration is simply but it feels warm and friendly. But i guess it will be better if they used sofa than chair, just my opinion :)

sorry blur :(

Hesna's face is funny :p

from outside

The ice cream taste is so unique. Fresh and doesn't taste like other ice cream or gelato in the market. You can see that from the flavor..Forrest berry, Lemon, Melon, Banana, Peach mango, Dark Chocolate, Green tea and Caramel. I tasted it all, and i love it. Hmmh.. the price is not too expensive. Its Rp10.000/scoop and Rp3.000 each topping. The plus point is, they provide a free mineral water ! You know, after ice cream moment, i usually got thirsty.  So good to can freely get a mineral water there.

It still raining when we're out from Artemy, even it gets harder.  So we're like stuck at Malioboro, in the rain. Cant go anywhere cause most of us forgot to bring raincoat. This picture bellow is capturing some moment in there..:)

Beringharjo and Oyot Gondhong Resto

March 6th 2012

Today we went to Beringharjo to bought some souvenir. Beringharjo is a traditional market which is commonly known as a batik central. Such a crowded place. If you have a plan to go here, make sure you bring mineral water, put your money in a save place, and mentally prepared to bargain, indeed.

I was looking for a batik pants and Surjan for Yon. I found it and had some good deals. ( Ah, the crazy searching was paid off when i knew you like it :')  ) And i bought some shirt for sisters and brother, Ah ! i bought a couple shirt for my parent. Cant wait til they wear it together ! hehe

Hesna, Hendik and Sari also bought some batik. I envy Hesna who bought a couple batik, i was going to bought it too, but i remember me and Yon want to bought it together. So, no batik for us, til now. :(

Oyot Gondong Resto - Jogjakarta

Finished shopping, we went to Mirota batik (again), to Oyong Gondhong Cafe and Pub exactly. Its the same place where we watched the Transgender Cabaret. But today we went there to lunch, no more show, just food.

The price list

The place is quite cozy and the price still friendly. I ordered Bakmi Jawa Goreng and Susu Perawan Tancep. Sounds ridiculous eh? I know hehe

Susu perawan tancep
Semok ( Susu Mocca )

The Bakmi Jawa is delicious, but nothing special on it. The drink is..awesome. I dont know why, but the Susu Perawan Tancep tasted like a nostalgia for me, remind me of my childhood. Though i didn't remember if i ever tasted this drink before. So weird. Eh, Semok tasted good too. :)

Finished eating, done talking and enough resting..we went to an ice cream cafe. Cant wait to tell you soon :)
